This is a Chain Story about Spring.

While the weather is warming up and the robins are coming out. Easter is just around the corner. The yard is all muddy, the snow banks are only 6 feet in hight and they are dirty with the dirt from the road, The only time of year when I find it hard to get money.

It's also the time of year when I feel most sad. I know that in just a month or two there will be green everywhere, and everything will be beautiful. And a month ago the fresh fallen snow was beautiful (though I still am quite sick of it). But now, the branches are bare, and in many cases broken from the weight of snow over the last few months. It makes me want to go out with splints and bandages and become a tree doctor.

But I doubt anyone will pay me for that, so while it might help the trees, it won't help me much.

The trees are turning green the birches out back are starting to have green buds. 6 months of winter is a long time for the white stuff to stay on the ground. :P The weather needs to warm up soon or else the harvest is going to be in next winter.

Down near the farm, is a shephard who has been there for two weeks. Father goes out to feed her scraps, but I wonder where she came from? The weather is mild during the day, but mostly wet at night. I fear she will get sick. She's a pretty girl with ebony skin and white patches in her chest. Father says she's a stray just passing through, but I think she's bringing us hope for spring. Besides we need it.

Hello, I'm a flower and this is the best time of year for being one. Budding the temperature is great, 75 degrees. People stopping and saying: "oh look a flower. It must mean that spring is here."
