It's not rhyme, it's not meter it's the words put together
You can talk of our love or about the weather
Yes if thoughts are expressed as a grant of our goal
If it counts at all, speak to the truth of your soul

I'm tired of poems and done for the season
The anapestic and cursed iambics the reason
I've plenty of rhymes with a sprinkle of meter
But the maker of these has me short by a liter

The good news is, the next exercise has nothing to do with meter and rhyme. ;)
