"But I'm Not A Writer!"

In Memory Of Constance Hunting
A short poem in memory of a teacher who inspired creativity in her students. *
That's perfectly fine! Many people have joined the site just so they can keep up-to-date with the writers they like the most. Visit out writers page to start finding great writers to add to your Reading List. Just create a free account and get started!

You may also want to browse our Featured Gallery and Most Popular Posts to find more great stories and poems.

And when it comes right down to it, after you've been on the site for awhile, we're sure the creative juices will start flowing, and you'll want to post something too!

"But I'm Not A Good Writer!"

That's fine too! This site was designed for anyone who enjoys writing, but doesn't have large amounts of time to dedicate to the writing process. Here you can block off as much or as little time as you want to write a piece of narrative writing, poetry, dialogue, etc. Then, once you've made it public, other members can view what you've written and make comments. You'll be surprised out how friendly and helpful folks are on this site. Just create a free account and get started!

"But I Need Some Ideas To Get Started!"

That's why we have a weekly writing prompt. The weekly writing prompt is a simple scenario, story idea, or poetry instruction that will help you get your brain in gear and begin writing something. Many of our members visit the site regularly throughout the week to read what others have written, and then once per week they do the writing prompt. Eventually, you may decide to get courageous and write something without a writing prompt, but the prompt is a great place to start!
